Modernization of Distribution Work Methods

  1. Transition of Distribution Work (HV Hot-line) Techniques
    1. Direct Work
      • Climbing a pole to reach the point of work
      • Risk of electric shock accidents and fatigue (especially in summer)
    2. Indirect Work
      • Indirect work through hot sticks
      • Risk of electric shock has been eliminated but fatigue due to working on overhead objects is still a problem
    3. Mechanized Work
      • Work that cannot be dome manually can be performed safely and accurately
      • Efficiency･･････Three linemen reduced to one. Working time reduced by 1/2.
