Technology Description
Truck-mounted Temporary Bypass HV Cable Kit a. Temporary Bypass Cable Truck
  • This cable truck serves to store and transport temporary HV cables for bypass connection, resulting in significant labor-saving.
  • The compact 2.5-ton truck is capable of being loaded with cables for 6 spans (45-55m (150-180ft) / drum * 18 drums) and accessories, including a bypass switch.
  • All the processes of cable selection (orbital motion) and unrolling / rerolling (rotation) are fully automated. It accommodates cable placing either on the ground or overhead.
  • Combination of types of cable can be made as desired. The cable drum attaching / detaching mechanism is also power driven.
b. Temporary Bypass HV Cable Kit
  • The cables in this kit provide temporary bypass connection across the object line section, resulting in no interruption of service in relation to the work.
  • A standard kit includes :
    Main cables
    22mm2, 6-span(45-55m (150-180ft) / span) coverage
    Terminal cables
    22mm2, 50m*2,15m*2
    Cables for connecting HV users
    22mm2, 15m*2,wth phase checker
    Cables for connecting transformer
    22mm2, 10m*4,with phase checker
    Bypass switch
    SF6-filled, with phase checker
  • All the cables are provided with quick connect terminals.
  • The cables and switch are rated at 100A.
Temporary Bypass LV Cable Kit
  • The cables in this kit provide temporary bypass connection across the object line section, resulting in no interruption of service in relation to the work.
  • A standard kit includes :
    Main cables
    Single conductor, 60mm2*2,38mm2*2, 4-span (45-55m (150-180ft)/ span) coverage
    Terminal cables
    Single conductor, 60mm2*2,38mm2*2, 25m*2sets,14m*3sets
  • All the cables are provided with quick connect terminals.
Mobile Transformer a. Transformer Truck
  • This truck carries a transformer for temporary supply during maintenance on lines in order to allow line isolation for safety while assuring continuity of service.
  • The compact 2.5-ton truck is capable of being loaded with a transformer and a cable kit, including accessories for temporary connection.
  • Operation of unrolling / rerolling of cables is automated as with the temporary bypass cable truck.
b. Transformer & Cable Kit
  • A standard system includes :
    Transformer
    50+30kVA, 3-phase / 4-wire for lighting & power supply, with on-load tap changer
    Phase checker
    It monitors voltage & phase and sets off an alarm if change occurs.
    HV cables
    Single conductor, 25mm2*3, 25m$B!\(J50m
    LV cables
    Single conductor, 60mm2*2, 38mm2*2, 25m+50m (80ft$B!\(J160ft)
  • Specifications of the HV & LV cables are the same as those of the temporary HV & LV cables.
High-Speed LV Switching Device
  • This device, rated at 200A, facilitates supply switching from one LV system to another regardless of their phase difference.
  • Two of them, each incorporating TRIAC's , in combination accomplish switching within a few msec, resulting in no drawback to computer users and other quality-conscious customers.
  • They are used in combination with temporary bypass LV cables and / or a mobile transformer.
LV Service Line Bypass Cable
  • Bypass cables for service line replacement and transplanting.
  • Labor saving from adoption of pin type connectors.
  • Two kinds of cable : linear type and Y branch type.
System for Uninterrupted Replacement of Watthour Meter a. Equipment for Outage-free Replacement of HV PCT and Meter
  • A device for replacing HV PCT's can handle a HV PCT's multiply rated at 50A & 20A.
  • An accompanying device for replacing watthour meters accommodates both electronic and mechanical types of meters and allows accurate measurement of watthours to continue during replacement.
b. Equipment for Outage-free Replacement of CT-integrated LV Watthour Meter
  • The device is capable of handling a large meter rated at 200A.
  • Measurement of watthours during replacement may be recorded by the previous or new meter.
  • All the attachment cables are provided with standard quick connect terminals.
c. LV Watthour-meter-bypassing Device
  • The device bypasses a small meter rated at 30A or less, facilitating uninterrupted replacement.
  • Pin type connectors are used for labor-saving wire connection.
  • The device, integrating a phase checker and switches, can be used for meters for both lighting supply and for power supply.
